A:
The High Sierra Regatta is an Invitational
One-Design, & PHRF Regatta. The Regatta was established for
classes of boats within the Fresno Yacht Club.
Other classes are invited, space permitting. The
Regattas size is limited due to US Forest Service
Limitations. Please feel free to submit a written request for
future consideration for your class of boat. Be sure
and include the number of boats to expect.

Yes you can but, doing so may jeopardize your fleet
qualifying for the minimum number of entries (5) to
qualify for a one-design fleet.

A: YES.

Q: How &
where do I get a PHRF Certificate? |
|
| |
|
A:
Certificates can be obtained from a
number of jurisdictions. Section 4.5 in the
Notice of Race
states, "any jurisdiction accepted". You may
obtain a certificate from
YRA, (they would be
the quickest). The certificate must be submitted before
the race. |

Q: How does
the Fresno Yacht Club come up with these ratings? |

A:
We well be using NCPHRF Ratings. If
your certificate is from other than NCPHRF and you have an adjustment to your rating for
modifications. We will adjust the NCPHRF Ratings
accordingly . The current NCPHRF Ratings for
classes that have participated in the past are:

Q: In the
past there has been an "A", "B"
& "C" Fleet in the PHRF
Class. How will you determine the split this
year? |

The split will be determined upon
pre-registration. The Fleets will be divided

Fresno Yacht Club host championship regattas? |

A: Yes,
the Fresno Yacht Club has been host to many Regional
and National Regattas. Due to logistic and
National Forest Service Limitations, we can only
except a few applications for considerations each
year. Currently we are working on events as
far as three years in advance. If you would
