The Parade will start at 11:00 a.m., leaving Winchell Cove (Millerton Lake Marina) and proceeding around the lake.  For those participating, we have three award categories; Best Decorated Boat, Best Dressed Crew, and Best Sailor for the Day. Sailing is a fun activity that continues throughout the years.

At 2:00 p.m. the general public is invited to go for a ride on a sailboat rides. The members of the Fresno Yacht Club will be available to take one, two, or the whole family out on the lake. This could be your opportunity to learn to sail.

FYC will also make available small sailboats used in our premiere junior sailing program which is open to central valley youth ages 9 - 18. Our Junior Sailing Program is designed for children and families to have fun on the water.  We will have FYC Members, volunteers, and instructors at Millerton Lake Marina (Winchell Cove) to discuss philosophy, activities, and provide an opportunity to experience moving through the water under wind and sail..
